*We discuss and agree upon ideas/format for your book*A series of 45-minute telephone interviews are arranged
*During phone interviews, I guide you through the process of telling me your life story, using your outline as talking points; or, giving me your
business/corporate history if it's a business book
*As you are telling me your story, I'm typing notes into the computer
*I use my notes to begin writing (no transcribing of tapes!)
*As I begin writing, I submit pages immediately for your consideration
*You review and give input regarding the direction, tone, voice, intent, or other input related to the book
*We make any necessary adjustments
*I continue writing, submitting pages often for your review and input
*You keep notes for any desired changes to be made
during editing and revisions process
*After a good first draft is created, we begin editing and revisions
*Once the editing, revisions, and proofreading are completed, you have a polished, professional, manuscript in Word document format,
ready to submit for publication!
*I give you the benefit of my experience and knowledge about the publishing industry, and help you select the best publishing route to match your goals.

*We discuss the assistance you require to
raise the level of the writing to publication standards
*I perform developmental editing on the manuscript,
including editing for structure, tone, voice, grammar,
character, consistency, content and intent
*I specialize in remaining true to your intention and "voice"
while raising the level of the writing as high as possible
*I perform a basic proofreading of the document
*I return to you a polished, professional Word
document ready to submit for publication!
